Why We Love It:

Keep your pooch comfortable on even the hottest days. The lightweight material uses evaporative cooling to keep your dog’s temperature down similarly to a wet cloth in front of a fan. Unlike some of the soggy competition, the Zephyr Cooling Vest stays lightweight even when wet allowing your dog to comfortably continue their summer activities. The material doesn't require refrigeration or cold water to work. As your dog moves and air circulates around the material, the fabric keeps your dog cool. This is particularly important for snub-nosed breeds in hot climates. Since the chest area is kept in the shade of your pup's body, the material stays damp longer. This is important since your pet's arteries are concentrated in that region. To refresh, simply pour more water over the material. As long as the material is damp, you know it's working to help keep your dog cooler. Temperature and humidity will affect the length of time the material stays damp.

Estimated cooling time:

If the dog is dry and in direct sunlight, it will stay damp for about 30mins – 1hr
If the dog is damp and in direct sunlight it will stay damp from 1-1.5hrs.
If the dog is dry and in the shade or indoors 1.5-2hrs.
If the dog is damp and in the shade or indoors 2-2.5hrs.
