FAQs

How do I make a suggestion?

If you've got a great idea to make BaxterBoo even better, we're all ears. Please contact us and let us know what you'd like to see done differently.

How do I return something?

Baxter Boo cheerfully accepts returns 45 days from the date you placed your order. Not happy with your purchase? Hey, it happens. Please see our Returns Instructions.

How do I use a gift certificate?

You can enter a gift certificate under the payment portion of checkout. You can specify how much of your gift certificate you would like to apply to your order (and pay the rest with another form of payment). However, by default, gift certificates will be applied as follows:

  • If the gift certificate amount is greater than or equal to your order total, the entire order amount will be paid with your certificate.
  • If the gift certificate amount is less than your order total, the entire balance of your gift certificate will be applied to the order total. You will need to specify another form of payment to pay for the remainder of the order total.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Orders are shipped same business day up to 3pm Eastern Time. Some orders may be held for verification, in which case you should hear from a Customer Service Representative within 1 business day. Once you have received an email containing your shipping confirmation and tracking number, you can expect your order to arrive within the following time frames, dependent on your chosen shipping methods.
  • Standard Shipping - 3 to 6 business days
  • Expedited Shipping - 2 to 3 business days
  • Free Shipping - 5 to 7 business days
  • International orders to Canada may take up to 3 weeks.

I have a promo code. Where do I enter it?

You can enter your promo code on the shopping cart page once you have added items to your cart. You can use only one promo code per order.

Do you offer promotions on food and and prescription items?

While we do offer promotions there are some items that may be excluded. We will always offer a discount for autoship items. Please know that promotions and discounts are limited to only the eligible products and qualifying items.

Are there any restrictions on promotional offers?

Only one promotional offer or coupon code can be used a time. Offers may not be combined. Certain items may not qualify. If this happens, your coupon will not be valid at checkout or in cart. Please reach our customer service if you have any questions!

Is my credit card information secure?

Baxter Boo uses 128-bit encryption to secure the transmission of your credit card information from your browser to our credit card processing company. We continually examine our security practices to ensure your information is safe.

I'm ordering a gift. Are prices included on the packing slip?

We do not include pricing information on our packing slips.

The item I'm looking for isn't listed. What's the deal?

Why don't you carry products for other animals?

We currently carry dog and cat products because we couldn't resist the puppy dog eyes from Baxter Boo himself, and our cat promised to stop shredding the furniture if we carried some alternatives. We're exploring the possibility of carrying the finest products for other animals, and we welcome your input.

What is your tax policy?

State Reporting and Use Tax

Individual State Requirements

We don't collect sales or use taxes in all states. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to use tax unless it's specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase isn't exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. Details of how to file these returns may be found at the websites of your respective taxing authorities.

Colorado

Colorado HB 1193, enacted in February 2010, requires online retailers to provide a detailed purchase report to customers with more than $500 of annual Colorado purchases by January 31 and to provide a summary purchase report with the total amount of each customer's annual Colorado purchases to the Colorado Department of Revenue by March 31. This law is currently the subject of a legal challenge brought by the Direct Marketing Association and others. In the meantime, the U.S. District Court has suspended enactment of the law while the legal challenge proceeds.

Oklahoma

Tax may be reported and paid on the Oklahoma individual income tax return [Form 511] or by filing a consumer use tax return [Form 21-1]. The referenced forms and corresponding instructions are available on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website. We're required to provide the notice above for Oklahoma purchases based on Oklahoma law (HB 2359) enacted in June 2010.

South Carolina

South Carolina customers may owe use tax on purchases made from Baxterboo.com. Payment and reporting information can be found on the South Carolina Department of Revenue's Website. S.C. Code Ann. § 12-36-2691(E)(3) requires us to provide South Carolina customers a notification of the total sale price amount for purchases made from Baxterboo.com.

South Dakota

Tax may be reported and paid on the South Dakota use tax form. The use tax form and corresponding instructions are available on the South Dakota Department of Revenue website. We're required to provide the notice above for South Dakota purchases based on South Dakota law (SB 146) enacted in April 2011.

Tennessee

Purchases shipped to Tennessee may be subject to Tennessee Use Tax (T.C.A. § 67-6-210) unless an exemption exists under Tennessee law. A sale is not exempt under Tennessee law because it is made through the Internet. Payments of applicable Tennessee use tax may be made through the Tennessee Department of Revenue's Website.

Vermont

Tax may be reported and paid on the Vermont use tax form. The use tax form and corresponding instructions are available on the Vermont department of taxes website. We are required to provide the notice above for Vermont purchases based on Vermont law (H 436) enacted in May 2011.
